Argus 2.0 = or > 4TR 1.7.0 ?

Post by Swifty » Tue Nov 13, 2012 3:22 pm

Hi Guys,

Congratulations on the new project!
I have to say my heart sank when I read that 4TR was dead, then I continued to read and realised it's still alive at heart, but with a name change to ArgusTV :)

So my question is, I currently have 4TR 1.7.0 installed and working nicely - is there any benefit to 'upgrade' to ArgusTV 2.0? - or is this, at the moment, just 4TR 1.7.0 but re-branded?
Essentially; Does Argus 2.0, contain features/fixes that are not in the last 4TR release?

Cheers!

we're going to go with greater than :D

There are indeed fixes in this product. (Think .1 plus little more)
The biggest point to note, is that the XBMC plugin will soon require the ARGUS TV REST API.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Clients: Win7 64bit. MediaPortal. ArgusTV Client. StreamedMP.

I always choose the second option :D
