Unable to watch live TV or recordings on android Kodi

Hi,

I'm having problems getting Argus TV to play on my android TV box using Kodi and was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I have a Argus TV backend running on a HP N40L.

I have Kodi with the Argus TV addon setup on my android TV box, I can see all the channels and EPG information but when I come to try and watch live TV or watch anything recorded I get the "Working" message then approx 15 seconds later a buffering message which remains on 0% and nothing else happens. I also have the exact same issue when I try it on my HTC one m8.

I can see the stream starts in my timeshift folder which is shared with "everyone" with full read/write access.

I installed Kodi on my laptop and everything worked flawlessly.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

On your server, check the upper/lower case mix of your shares, & add them as file locations in Kodi in exactly the same way.

You don't need to go down the passwords.xml route, instead just add the share/shares as file locations within Kodi.
