MP 1.6 / ArgusTV 2.2.2 - unable to connect to TV Server

Hi all,

Its been a long while since I've re-installed MP and 4TR/ArgusTV so I may have missed something as I'm getting an error.

New install of Windows 7 SP1 / MP 1.6 / ArgusTV 2.2.2

When I installed MP I selected to NOT install TV and when I checked in the MP config screen there was no plugin for TV
I then installed ArgusTV with the MP client plugin and when I checked in MP config screen TV/Radio had then appeared.

The problem is, now that I make any change in the MP configuration client I cannot save it because it complains that it cannot connect to TV Server.
The only selection on the TV/Radio section in the MP configuration client is the servername of the server it's installed on - and Test Connection fails.

Any advice on how to fix this so I can make changes in the MP configuration client again ?

Just ignore the error. It'll work fine.

Hi, sorry. I can't ignore the error because MP config client won't let you save ANY settings that you've changed. It keeps throwing up the error when I try to save and exit. I can only cancel any changes and exit.

I think I get the same error, something like "cannot connect to tv server, do you want to review the settings?".

I select "no" and everything is fine.

Also, I've always installed MP as a client only with the ability to watch tv.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I think I've just realised that my settings weren't being saved for a different reason and it wasn't because of the error.
