iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.26a)
Re: iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.25)
Why not have some one test with an ipad air?
I've got an ipad mini first generation and love to test it for you

The problem with that is I pretty much have to write it all for someone to be able to test it in my app..
It basically just uses libVLC so if you install VLC on your iPad, start an Argus stream elsewhere then see if VLC will play the rtsp:// URL, that's testing the same thing, if it works there then it'll work when I incorporate it.

Ok will try tomorrow

Hi,
Rtsp streaming to vlc on iphone 5s worked, did have some bandwith issues because my mp setup only has a wifi-g link and also the iphone is wireless.
The ipad mini 1st generation was only able to play sound, video didn't work.
So it Sems really likely that and ipad air is also able to succesfully play back the rtsp stream

Thanks for the info rudig
I'll pass on this for now then, lack of interest and it won't work for most people without manual transcoding setup.

Friends, what is the possibility to call direct application, VLC and have it flow in the own device. ?

Not sure if related, but need to provide username and password since upgrade to ios8.
Could not find this username and password in config files. Where can I look them up?

It's the username and password you setup while installing Argus-TV Scheduler.
I found mine here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ARGUS TV\Web Access\web.config
Under the tags:
AuthenticationUserName
AuthenticationPassword

I can confirm. Since upgrade to iOS8 the login does not work automatically anymore.
Credentials are asked each time. Then it works.

Does this app also contains a wake on lon function like the Android app?
