Method Not Found error

Post by madas » Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:01 am

Hello,

I'm getting this error on a bunch of my recordings. Any idea what it could be?

RT: MediaPortal TV Server on Media-US reported the following error (12/25/2012 4:59:14 PM):
Method not found: 'TvControl.TvResult TvControl.IController.StartRecording(TvControl.IUser ByRef, System.String ByRef, Boolean, Int64)'.
Your ARGUS TV system may require your attention!

I'm running the latest ArgusTV with a MediaPortal 1.3Beta backend. LiveTV works fine through the Argus XBMC plugin.

How do I debug?

Thank you

M

I will try to find the time tonight to put the TV server plugin source code onto Github, ready to be recompiled with the MP 1.3 Beta assemblies. That should normally fix the problem.

Ah...i thought it was already compatible with MP 1.3Beta

I guess that also explains the

"Card is in use by previous recording"

error that I also keep getting.

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

The source code of the plugin has now been put onto Github: https://github.com/ARGUS-TV/ARGUS-TV-Recorders

Thank you. Does the source get compiled nightly to create nightly builds? or do I have to wait for the next Argus release 2.0.2 ?

No nightly builds just yet I'm afraid. You'll have to get the source and compile it yourself.

But here's one I prepared just for you :)
ArgusTV.Recorder.MediaPortalTvServer.zip
(62.77 KiB) Downloaded 654 times
Be sure to replace both DLLs with the one from the zip.

Now that MP 1.3 Final is out...does something need to be re-compiled before I can update?

Thanks
