Argus Scheduler doesn' t import a xml file.

Post by ermi69 » Sun Jan 20, 2013 7:05 pm

Hi,
I have a problem with Argus.
I Have a little software that fetch epg data and build a tvguide.xml file (Italy channels programs)....then it stores file in
D:\Programmi\ARGUS TV\XMLTV.

But in Argus Tv Scheduler console, in Electronic Program Guide, there is nothing.
In View log I don't find anything.

May someone help me?

(Argus version 2.0.1)

Hi and welcome

your xmltv file must be in this folder

C:\ProgramData\ARGUS TV\XMLTV

That appears to be the path equivalent to \Program Files\, the correct folder is the ProgramData folder.

Win XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ARGUS TV\XMLTV\

Win Vista and above
C:\ProgramData\ARGUS TV\XMLTV\

If in doubt you can use
%AllUsersProfile%

Edit: Kay beat me to it :)
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Server: WHS 2011. Hauppauge HVR 2200. Avermedia A835. ArgusTV Server. EPG Collector.
Clients: Win7 64bit. MediaPortal. ArgusTV Client. StreamedMP.
