Help please! Beginner

I consider myself a techie but am stumped trying to set up Argus/Kodi.

I want to use Kodi as the front end and Argus to provide PVR/TV from my DVB-T card. A really basic single PC system.

I've tried installing Argus a number of times but can't figure out what is really needed nor get it stable.

So please would someone help me with :-
[I'm on Windows 10 x64]

1. Do I need Standalone server or single seat server/client? I assume Standalone server but then why does it require username/password for Remote Access? Surely it uses the Windows account as it's all on the same PC? What do I use for username/password during the Argus installation??

2. If I install notifier it crashes everything. Why and can I assume not to install it?

3. Do I need to install scheduler AND recorder consoles or just recorder??
