First of all, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to IIS configuration, however I (think I) want to use IIS for Argus TV for different reasons.
If I try to access for example http://localhost/ArgusTV.WebAccess/default.aspx I am redirected to http://localhost/ArgusTV.WebAccess/en/A ... 2ffoo.aspx which cannot be found (404).
How do I get anywhere from here...?

What OS are you running IIS on.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.
Server: WHS 2011. Hauppauge HVR 2200. Avermedia A835. ArgusTV Server. EPG Collector.
Clients: Win7 64bit. MediaPortal. ArgusTV Client. StreamedMP.

Windows Home Server (the old one).andrewNZ wrote:What OS are you running IIS on.
There is no log entry in any of the system logs (Event Viewer). Is there a separate IIS log, or even an application specific (i.e. ArgusTV.WebAccess) log?

I never successfully got WebAccess to run on IIS for WHSv1. I just use the included webserver.

Hi mate & Andrew
This is quite a long-time existing (and oftenly discussed) issue, already within 4TR. I have the same issue - time to solve it & place it in the Wiki...
I'll try to investigate (again)

Re: Argus TV 2.0.1 + IIS Web Access - logon page not found
First problems I found:
- 4TR Web Access Web site was not deleted. (Most recently, I installed without web access, this may be the cause for it not being deleted. It should check the existance of 4TR Web Access page whether selected prior or not)
- 4TR entry in App Pool was not deleted
- ATV Web Access Web site was added, but it refers to the 4TR installation. If I delete 4TR default web page, ATV is renamed to 4TR and leads to errors
- deleting both of them and re-installing leads to an "index out of range error", both, with de-install and with start-up.
- Afterwards, there is NO default web site anymore (ATV not added)
