Hi there,
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the XBMC plugin, or argus-tv itself. However, this happens on all computers I try and use to happen on FORTHERECORD as well (historical reference) lol.
If I want to use a USB HDD or a SD Card for the timeshift and recording files instead of putting all the load on the internal hdd, I can play channels through the XBMC plugin but as soon as I want to STOP current playback or SWITCH the channel, xbmc will freeze up. however, if I use a HDD connected to a SATA port the problem goes away and things work as they should.
Is this a bug, and can it be fixed?
Will post over at the XBMC plugin thread and see if Red-F can chime in with his 2 cents.
Cheers,
Loggio.
Problem using external media for timeshift & record
Re: Problem using external media for timeshift & record
never mind... Turns out the problem is with the format of the disk drive. Formatted the SD card from FAT32 to NTFS and she's working fine now.
