EPG information inside the stream - still present?

Post by Christoph21x » Sun Mar 09, 2014 10:49 pm

Hi All
Dear doti

With 4TR it was possible to retrieve stored meta information like EPG information through

Code: Select all

Notepad.exe "filename.ts:ForTheRecord.xml"
I tried it with some "Argus-TV equivalents" but wasn't successful. Is it still stored as a stream inside the file and if so - how could I access it?

Any hint appreciated.

Kind regards to you all, guys - Chris

It should be ":ArgusTV.xml"

FYI: this only works on NTFS volumes, in other cases there will be an .arg file next to the .ts file containing the XML data.

Thanks dot-i!
THAT was of course the reason, tried it on a NAS. Should have remembered that...
Kind regards - Chris
